Homemade Halloween: Star Wars Droids & Jedi

For Halloween this year (or Mickey's Halloween Party, at least), we decided to be droids from Star Wars.  There are four good ones, but the big kids picked the cute, small ones and left the tall ones for the little two, so I took one, and John and Arthur are Jedi.

As usual, I  crocheted the hats using this pattern, and made up my own decorations for them.  I'm impressed with myself.
K-2SO - Besides the hat, the rest of my costume is literally duct tape on black clothing.

3-CPO - Tutu made from a variety of gold and glittery tulle.  50 yards of tulle is plenty. Glitter tulle not recommended. Gold leggings from Amazon.

R2-D2 and BB-8 - Maggie's white and orange tutu is made the same as Sienna's. Both of the kids' t-shirts are iron-ons.  I decided to try that after I found free printables for each while looking for ideas.  Printable R2-D2 iron on

It was easy and I would definitely do it again.

Jedi - I bought John's robe from Walmart because it was more cost effective, but ended up making one for Arthur. (any size Jedi robe tutorial) I also made inner tunics for them both using this nifty tutorial.

Update with one more pic from Trunk or Treat.
